Only 43 days, 7 hours, 3 minutes, and 14 seconds to go until midnight, the morning of October 3... well at least when I started writing this blog. I cannot believe that in less than three months I will be walking down the aisle to marry my best friend, my soul mate.
A soulmate is someone that just gets you. It's a connection of minds, a mutual respect, an unconditional love and a total understanding. It's about being yourself and knowing, not only that person is following and understanding your thoughts, but is right there with you, side by side.
In the last month, I have really started buckling down on final plans for our wedding. It started August first with a bridal shower that my mom threw for me back in my home state, Iowa. What fun! Full of friends and games, I caught up with several people I haven't seen in years since I have left home. Here are some photos from the event.
Upon arriving back in the Hills, I kicked my gears into action. Isaac finally ordered his suits, I called all our vendors, decided to go through with everything as originally planned, and moved onto planning decor.
Oh! And we finally got all of our invites sent... with COVID, it was uncertain for a while how many people we would be able to invite. Unfortunately, I kind of let that get the better of me and procrastinated ordering/sending them out. Sorry!!
A note to future brides reading this: don't procrastinate sending out invites! You need to give your guests enough time to send in RSVPs and make plans accordingly...
