Happy Holidays to all my followers out there! Thank you for everything you do and all the support you've given me through the years.
This was the first year that I missed Christmas back home in Iowa, but Isaac and I hosted Christmas in our first home together in Rapid City, SD with his brothers and parents. It was a great way to get to know everyone a little bit better, and a great way to spend the holiday.
The only downside - I had a tonsillectomy less than a week before Christmas. Sooo with that said, I was in a lot of pain, and everyone was very patient with my tiny voice and appetite.
I was even able to keep the tradition of watching "White Christmas." Every year my family watches this movie on Christmas, either in the morning, right after our big dinner, or sometimes after a long nap. I watched it about 20 times last holiday season alone, and could probably tell you every line. It is surly one of my favorites.
On top of it all, we even managed to get in some great family photos. With Isaac's brothers in Arizona and Minnesota, and his Dad living East River, it's hard to get us all together. It was great to get a photo of everyone while we were all in one spot.
From my family at Finer Details Artistry to your family at home, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanakkuh, Happy Kwanzaa, and have a happy new year!
