There are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. Of that, Christianity is the largest with more 200 denominations. From Catholics to Baptists, Lutherans, Evangelicals, Unitarians and Latter-Day Saints, each church has one thing in common - their faith and belief in the Bible. That being said, the translations (taken from the Catholic Bible) of my favorite scriptures may not align with your translation exactly.
Joshua 1:9 "Behold, I am instructing you. Be strengthened, and be steadfast. Do not dread, and do not fear. For the Lord your God is with you in all things, wherever you may go."
Sirach 1:29 "Those who are patient will suffer for a brief time, and afterwards, happiness will return."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life."
1 Corinthians 15:10 "But, by the grace of God, I am what I am. And his grace in me has not been empty, since I have labored more abundantly than all of them. Yet it is not I, but the grace of God within me."
Proverbs 3:15 "She is more precious than all riches, and all that can be desired cannot prevail in comparison to her."
Isaiah 26:4 "You have trusted in the Lord for all eternity, in the Lord God almighty forever."
1 Corinthians 13:13 "But for now, these three continue: faith, hope, and charity. And the greatest of these is charity."
Songs of Solomon 8:7-8 "Set me like a seal upon your heart, like a seal upon your arm. For love is strong, like death, and envy is enduring, like hell: their lamps are made of fire and flames. A multitude of waters cannot extinguish love, nor can a river overwhelm it. If a man were to give all the substance of his house in exchange for love, he would despise it as nothing."
Galatians 6:9 "And so, let us not be deficient in doing good. For in due time, we shall reap without fail."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 "Therefore, it is better for two to be together, than for one to be alone. For they have the advantage of their companionship. If one falls, he shall be supported by the other. Woe to one who is alone. For when he falls, he has no one to lift him up."
